  6. VCDHH Today • Students Served: 600 in Regional Programs 20 in Residential Programs • Adult Programs and Outreach • Campus Overhead: $ 1.1 Million / Year • Line of Credit: $ 865,000 • Employees: 86 Full time 16 Part time

  7. BS&L Next Steps • Our Line of Credit was not “called”. • We placed a voluntary cap of $700K • The Line of Credit is secured by a $1M Certificate of Deposit at BSLB. • BSBL holds our mortgages of $2.6M on Croker and Vermont Halls. Both currently performing.

  8. All Earth Solar Lease

  9. Solar Energy Leasing • We have completed the required financial report for the solar investors. • Preliminary inquiries suggest the lease would not change our tax status with the Town of Brattleboro. • There are two primary sites: • The field above Holton Hall • The lower soccer field

  10. Wheeler House • The HCRS leases will expire this spring • A local realty company is conducting a market analysis to determine the current value of the land near Wheeler House for sale or for a land lease. • We have a local non-profit organization interested in building on the site • We continue to explore options for senior citizen independent living for Deaf and Hard of Hearing

  11. Holton Hall • UVM-Ext has expressed renewed interest in our campus for office space NOT classrooms • They seek 3,000 square feet of office and one classroom plus storage space • The third floor of Holton Hall is 3,007 s/f minus the Austine School Museum • A new lease has been drafted with High 5

  12. Croker Hall • Garland School • 5 Year Lease for North Section of Building • Will Also Fence Play Area in Courtyard • 25 Students and Five Staff Circus • Two Year Lease for Gymnasium

  13. Other Croker Options Inspire School • License up to 25 Students • Lease for 10,000 square feet • Boards have met. Similar missions but already committed to long term lease in current site Regional Preschools
