Real Scenario…. 5th grade level 86 students 13 did not meet standard in math 25 commended level in math 10 did not meet standard in reading 30 commended level in reading 3 did not meet standard in both math/reading 16 commended level in both math/reading 4 classroom teachers Interventionist (regular ed) Interventionist (special ed)

    4. Take the 4 classroom teachers and put them in a content of their strength Math – Larson Reading – Witt Social Studies – Lucas Science – Reemts Reg Ed Intervention – Vidal Spec Ed Intervention - Schrank

    5. Take the regular schedule and build a new schedule out from specials and lunch Put each student’s name on an index card Identify their mastery by colored dots or other way Did not meet standard in Math Did not meet standard in Reading Commended level in Math Commended level in Reading

    7. Tentative Schedule 7:40 – 8:25 – Homeroom 8:30 – 9:20 – Specials 9:30 – 10:30 – 1st period 10:35 – 11:35 – 2nd period 11:40 – 1:15 – 3rd period (lunch) 1:20 – 2:40 – 4th period (recess) 2:40 – 2:50 – Wrap up
