“Songs for Alyssa” A benefit for a baby girl

So many times tragedy strikes and we shake our heads and wish there was something we could do…something that could make a difference…. “Songs for Alyssa” A benefit for a baby girl. From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother's womb. I will ever praise you.

  1. So many times tragedy strikes and we shake our heads and wish there was something we could do…something that could make a difference…. “Songs for Alyssa” A benefit for a baby girl From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother's womb. I will ever praise you. Psalm 71:6

  2. Alyssa was born full term weighing in at 8 lbs. She was a healthy happy baby. On Monday, 8/3 she stoppedbreathing at day care. They started CPR and called 911. Alyssa was taken to Texas Children's Hospital where they were able to stabilize her….

  3. However, due to the lack of oxygen, Alyssa suffered a severe brain injury. Surrounded by prayer, she began her valiant struggle to recover. After 3 weeks in Pediatric ICU on a ventilator, she received a tracheostomy and a G-Tube was surgically placed….

  4. Following an additional 2 weeks in PCU, she was allowed to go home with Mommy, Daddy and her three year old brother. The Lord is at work and Alyssa is miraculously showing small signs of healing. However, caring for her is an unending task with a maximum of 2 hours between necessary care around the clock (24/7/365). Insurance is not paying for any respite care and for only a limited amount of crucial equipment and supplies.

  5. This precious girl continues to fight for her life, and her parents are facing every parent’s worst nightmare, in that the future of their beautiful daughter remains in question. The strength and courage of this incredible family has been an inspiration to all that have heard this story or had the opportunity of crossing their path. Now it’s our turn…

  6. We now have an opportunity to make a difference in their lives, by not only showing love and compassion, but also by helping ease some of the financial burden that they are facing for years to come. Join us for this concert night as we lift up this family.
