This assignment presents ten innovative proposals to strengthen efforts in providing efficient and effective assistance in a world where corruption is a fact. The proposals include recognizing the importance of money in aid, adapting to reality, improving the use of funds, fostering organizational strength, equipping each function to fulfill its tasks, applying and developing UNCAC compliance, and strengthening the judicial process.

  5. What picture has emerged? “Is it possible to provide aid in a corrupt country? Yes, aid is needed, and it is especially needed in environments characterized by corruption.” Employee stationed overseas

  8. What needs to be done? If only one suggestion: Transparency The most “innovative”: Act in accordance with decisions made Strikingly insufficient use of ICT: Work more using the internet, virtually and text messaging.
