  12. Evaluation of the speaking test • Rating scale is a five-band measure (A to E), and is used by the examiner to assign a score • Based on test taker’s overall communicative effectiveness; linguistic resources (range and accuracy of vocabulary and grammar); and delivery and intelligibility
