Example, Teacher Training:K-12 GIS National Training Survey Baker, Kerksi, Palmer Forthcoming - NGCE Journal of Geography • A 2004 online survey of K-12 educators who attended GIS training • Self-reported (n=186) data suggest a few modest, yet significant changes in assessment and instructional patterns. • Barriers to GIS implementation are still present: time for teachers, variable student skills, and software complexity. • And much more….
