  2. What is Obesity? Being excessively overweight BMI 12-25.5 normal BMI 26-29 overweight BMI 30-39 is considered obese BMI 40 severely/morbidly obese .

  3. Statistics Childhood obesity has tripled in adolescents in the past 30 years. In 2010,over 1/3 of children overweight. In the United States, 93 million affected by obesity Since 2001,MS. has been in top 5 for obesity rates MS ranks 3rd in obesity rates. Massachusetts healthiest state Tennessee most obese.
