  4. La Niña continues to weaken, and its effects typically become less noticeable during the spring season. The dry weather pattern is expected to persist through at least the Week 2 time frame.

  6. Week 2 Precipitation Forecast (4/14 - 4/20) Increased chances for below normal precipitation

  10. Drought Impacts – April • Above normal wildfire conditions, including possibly a few significant wildfires. • County-wide burn bans in effect. • Depleted soil moisture. Dryland crops will not progress without moisture. • Continued supplemental feeding of livestock. • Surface water supplies depleted from evaporation, municipal and agricultural use.
