  7. Be Careful when you come to bridge Based on what you have told me, I can see why you think xyz is the best approach, But Don’t negate this nice acknowledgement or validation by saying But Thank for sharing, And now I would like to share another approach that may also accomplish our common goal

  9. Human Values for Emails(See Good, Do good, Email Good!) 2. Never say anything negative about another person in an email. This follows Swami’s command that we should not be criticize others because when we do, we are criticizing God. Also it’s best to give feedback for improvement in person or on the phone where it’s easier to do this in a loving way.

  10. Human Values for Emails(See Good, Do good, Email Good!) 2. If we say something negative, never make things worse by BCCing to their boss or supervisor 3.When you compliment someone in an email, remember to CC as many others as appropriate, for example their center president, and other officers or devotees.

  11. Human Values for Emails(Love and Non-Violence) 4. Never try to resolve a major conflict or difference of opinion via email. This will just make things worse. Try to meet in person and if this not possible then phone, Skype and other means of 2 way communication is essential.

  12. Human Values for Emails(God expects Attention to Detail) 5. Subject line should be simple and summarize content of email. Also do not forget to put something in Subject line. If email chain changes subject matter discussed, this should be reflected by a change in thesubject line heading. All of this will help you and others when searching for this email in the future.

  13. Human Values for Emails(God expects Attention to Detail) 6. CC only those who need to know, do not include others, use your best judgment Don’t forget to CC those that need to know 7. Forward an email only to those who need to know if they were not initially included

  14. Human Values for Emails(God expects Attention to Detail) 8. Do not share Sai Organization email addresses This can best be accomplished by putting all the email addresses in BCC section and then stating who is receiving. “To all center members”. 9. Reply To All Button Be really careful with this one. In many cases at work and in Sai Organization it as not appropriate.

  15. Human Values for Emails(God expects Attention to Detail) 10. When we refer to an attachment or pictures in our email…we need to remember to attach the picture or email. 11. Be careful about copying and pasting. The info we copy and paste may be incorrect or outdated 12. For official e-mail correspondence, our signature should reflect our official position.

  16. Human Values for Emails(God expects Attention to Detail) 12.5 Just use one email address Multiple email addresses for same person causes more problems than we can imagine.
