Challenges of theSugarcaneAgroindustry • Consolidate sugar production to guarantee internal consumption and to efficiently participate in the regional and international market. • Improve profitability, encourage investment and employment, give certainty to productive activity, and access to adequate financing and diversification of the supply.

NationalProgram of theSugarCaneAgroindustry (PRONAC 2013 - 2018) • Objectives: • To guarantee the supply in the domestic market and strengthen the exporting capacity. • Increase the profitability and diversity of production. • Improve the productivity. • Increase the sustaintability. • Promoteresearch, development, innovation and technology transfer.
