  4. Arc de Triomphe. • At the western end of the Champs Elysees. • It is situated in place Charles de Gaulle. • It is the worlds famous Triomphe arch. • It is over 51 metres high.

  5. Arc de Triomphe And 45 meters wide. 12 roads radiate from it in a star shape. • There are 284 steps to the top. • The top of the arch gives one of the best views over Paris.

  7. Arc de Triomphe Unknown soldier is buried below the arc. The tombs eternal flame burns there and is lit each evening. Pictures of battles are carved in the Ark. Nowadays victory parades in Paris starts here.
