  1. How Far I Have Come In Yr 5! By Joel Sooben Featuring Literacy & Numeracy

  2. Numeracy!

  3. My Progress Now, in maths I can do harder work and work for longer on one thing, furthermore, I also can do division and multiplication better because I understand the different ways of working them out better now. In numeracy I thing the muscle I have developed the most is revising because now I always check back on my work. • In maths, it is important to consider that, even though I used to go to Yr 6 for maths, I have still made progress. First of all I have made progress with decimals ,fractions and percentages, as, I now understand more clearly how to convert them into one another. Also, I have progressed from the start of this year in maths by getting more work done and it being neater!

  4. Yr 6 Numeracy Targets: • To check back even more so I don't get any questions wrong. • To concentrate more on my work and try to manage all distractions that might bother me. • To set my work out neater and sometimes complete more in the time. • To become better at working out big division sums. • To go on maths websites more often to improve my learning.

  5. Literacy!

  6. First of all, in literacy, my biggest progress has been in my handwriting as it has got much neater and early this year I finally got onto pen. Also, I now understand lots more different types of writing which I hadn't done before or hadn't done for a long time -like discussion texts. In addition to that is, the quantity of my writing has grown and I can normally do a lot in the time given. Furthermore, also the quality of my writing has rapidly improved and I can produce quality in all types of texts, not just the ones I enjoy writing! I think I have improved a lot on my non-fiction texts because now I understand how to put lots of detail in without mixing up the facts. In literacy, I think the muscle I have most improved on is my perseverance muscle because now I work better for longer. My Progress

  7. Yr 6 Literacy Targets • To make my handwriting even neater and therefore get onto fountain pen. • To put better openers and connectives in my work. • To put a wider range of punctuation into my work. • To complete more in the time given and use up all the available space. • To put more paragraphs in to my non-fiction work and plan better.
