  1. Digi rate update • Added Matched LCT’s from ME1/1A chambers in MC • Had to switch from using LCTs from raw data unpacking to ones created with trigger emulator using wire and comparator digis • Two samples nearly identical, looking at few discrepancies to determine small changes • Larger differences when comparing two approaches with real data • Scanned through 25 events with activity in ME4/2 • 24 had no other activity in rest of muon system • 23 had late ALCT • How to distinguish these as cosmics vs neutron background?

  2. ALCT Rates Cousins paper result -14 TeV With neutron background (solid) and without (dashed)  900 GeV  • New results have much larger fluctuations between chambers • Discrepancy between data and MC larger in 2360 GeV sample • Rate using x-section of 55.2 mb and L=10^34 from Cousins paper  2360 GeV

  3. CLCT rates Cousins paper result -14 TeV With neutron background (solid) and without (dashed)  • Similar features to ALCT rates 900 GeV   2360 GeV

  4. Matched LCT rates Cousins paper result -14 TeV With neutron background (solid) and without (dashed)  900 GeV   2360 GeV

  5. Whats next • Single layer background rate with zero luminosity • Single layer rate at increaing luminosities • Update with increasing luminosities and energies
