Our project aims to develop a low-cost, IoT-based water quality monitoring system that can monitor water quality in real-time. Using various sensors, the system measures parameters such as pH, turbidity, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and temperature. The processed data is sent remotely to a cloud server through Wi-Fi, which can be accessed via a browser application. This solution ensures clean drinking water supply, helps in eradicating waterborne diseases, and is relatively cheap and robust when implemented at a large scale.

  3. PROBLEM STATEMENT According to WHO report 21% of the total diseases are caused by unsafewater and 77 Million people are suffering due to not having access to safedrinking water. • In India 3.4 million people, mostly children, die annually from water-related diseases. • About 2.2 million people die from diarrhoea. • 90% of these deaths are among children, mostly in developing countries. • More than 1 billion people draw their water from unsafe sources. • The UN has included “Safe Drinking Water” for everyone in Sustainability Development Goals 2030 To Solve the above problems our Project is a perfect solution Real Time Solar Powered Water Quality and Quantity Monitoring and Management System based on IOT

  4. SOLUTION By focusing the above issues, we have to develop and design a low cost water quality monitoring system that can monitor water quality in real time using IOT environment. In our proposed system water quality parameters are measured by the different water quality monitoring sensors such as pH, turbidity, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and temperature. These sensor- values are processed by the micro-controller and these processed values are sent to the core controller remotely using Wi-Fi module IEEE 802.11.x protocol. In the proposed system, IOT module is used to access processed data from the core controller to the cloud. The processed data can be monitored through a browser application using a special IP address. Furthermore, with the help of IOT environment, we can provide facility to access data remotely from all over the world • Beneficiaries will be primarily the water supply board and secondary will be house hold communities and rural areas • It helps in providing clean drinking water and easy monitoring system to all • Impact that the solution would ensure clean water supply to everyone there by ensuring the eradication of water borne diseases • The project is relatively cheap and robust when implemented at a large scale • IoT, Web Development and Designing, Machine Learning
