  14. What is the Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework? It is the framework that shows the relationship between different qualifications. It brings together achievements from school, colleges, universities, Scouts, D.of E. and many work based qualifications. Level 1 = National 1 Level 5 = National 5 /Skills for Work Level 5 Level 6 = Higher Level 7 = Adv. Higher / HNC /Scottish Baccalaureate/YAAS

  19. What is the Chatty Café? • The chatty café is a place to make new friends • You can talk to trained buddies if you have any worries or concerns • An opportunity play games, watch films and take part in quizzes

  21. Magnus MoncrieffActive Schools Coordinator Friday afternoons: The Active Schools Angus team are committed to providing sporting activities and increasing physical activity. A programme of activities will be offered in each school over the course of the school year. Updates to the programme will made throughout the session. These activities are FREE to secondary aged young people in Angus schools. To register for a place at an Active Schools Angus activity, please submit your details at www.angus.gov.uk/angusextra. Activities start on Friday 17 August 2018. Young Scot Reward points will also be available to young people who participate in all of these activities.

Objectives of WHS’s Parent Council • To promote a partnership between the school, its pupils, all its parents and the wider community • To identify and represent the views of parents on education and the welfare of the pupils • To take part in and organise activities that support the education and welfare of pupils

What do we do? • Support the work of the school e.g. give feedback and advise on school policies • Get involved in the appointment of senior staff • Organise social and fundraising events • Discussing anything that’s of interest to parents • Ensure we have as wide a representation as possible and that all views are equally represented
