Graduation Requirements All students need to complete 220 credits:40 credits of English20 credits of Math (Must include Algebra 1 and Geometry or Practical Geometry.30 Credits of Science (Must include 1 Life AND 1 Physical)30 Credits of History (World History, US History, Government and Economics)20 Credits of PE (4 years of Band or 4 years of ROTC can meet this requirement)10 Credits of EITHER a Foreign Language or Performing Art.70 Credits of ElectivesPassing of the California High School Exit Exam

  5. Four Year Plan • Your Counselor will be calling you in to complete a Four Year Plan for your high school classes here at OHHS. • This will help map out your classes for your high school years.

  6. College Bound? A – G Requirements: Refer to student handbook College Practice Exams *PSAT/ EXPLORE College Entrance Exams * ACT/SAT GPA – Must pass classes with a C or better

  10. Bulldog Training • All 9th grade students will be encouraged to attend an all day seminar here at OHHS. • Workshops will address topics such as : anger management, healthy relationships, positive self concept, and tolerance. • Sign- ups for first session will be coming soon.

  11. Testing • P-SAT / EXPLORE • SAT/ ACT • ASVAB • Benchmarks • STAR testing in April Whenever you have a test, try your best!

  12. Reasons To See My Counselor • Academic guidance and support • Career planning and exploration • College or post high school planning • Social or personal issues • Peer Assistants are also available

  13. Long Term Goals • Graduate from High school in 4 years! • Think about and prepare what you want to be when you grow up! • Keep up on your grades, check Edline • Get involved in your community • Remember: Your education and your future is YOUR responsibility!
