SCHOOL OF LAW Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law- BA LLB (Hons) course provides insights into the policy initiatives within the framework of the constitution and integrates legal studies with aspects of governance. The BA LLB course is designed not only with the objective of encompassing knowledge of law but also to teach subjects like English, Sociology, Economic, Political Science and History. These courses help to understand how central and state governments function and how legislations are enacted and enforced.   3. PROGRAM OUTCOMES PO 1. Knowledge : Students will possess knowledge and understanding of substantive & procedural Laws. PO 2. Understanding: Students will possess knowledge and understanding of Legal Theory. PO 3. Legal Reasoning: The students will be able to analyze critically the existing Laws by applying legal reasoning. PO 4. Legal Research: Students will demonstrate the ability to perform Legal Research and Problem solving. PO 5. Communication Skills: Students will demonstrate proficiency in written and oral communication in the legal context PO 6. Professional Acumen: Students will display a high degree of professional skills of counseling, negotiation and argument

Professional Ethics: Students will understand and apply the rules of professional ethics towards their clients and society at large PO 9. Environmental Awareness: Students will understand and appreciate the rules relating to environment protection. PO 10. Legal Aid: Students will develop requisite skills to act as an informed legal professional to participate in civic life through volunteering. PO 11. Techno-Legal Skills: The students will be proficient in applying legal tools and techniques necessary for solving legal issues.
