How to draw a perfect star.

How to draw a perfect star. By Ellie Hughes and Scarlett Griffin. Draw a regular pentagon. To figure out the angle size, the equation is 3 X 180 divided by 5 (number of sides) = 108 degrees this is because you can fit 3 triangles in a pentagon and there is 180° in a triangle.

  2. Draw a regular pentagon. To figure out the angle size, the equation is 3 X 180 divided by 5 (number of sides) = 108 degrees this is because you can fit 3 triangles in a pentagon and there is 180° in a triangle.   • After the pentagon is drawn, check your angles and make sure each one is 108 degrees. Next, label all your midpoints in your lines with a dotted line. Draw a line from each of your midpoints of the line and from the angles of each line. • You should be able to see how the star is formed at this point. Basically just connect lines from angles to your midpoint lines. • You should now have a five pointed star.
