    3. Class Notes 2s Time for Two's has gotten off to a great start! Thank you to all of the parents and grandparents for giving the children a kiss and hug goodbye and then promptly departing. I know it can be difficult those first days of school. The children are beginning to settle in. Everyone is very busy and curious! They are all doing an excellent job of holding the rope when we walk to the playground. I am looking forward to the rest of the year! Gretchen Cavatassi

    6. Greetings, PCNS families! September was a very busy and emotional month for many of us. We have all had the bittersweet experience of walking our children to class, filled with excitement for the year ahead, but also wondering how they will make do without us. Some children transition with ease, while others need a bit more time. Thank you to our devoted teachers, aides, and director, and our wonderful parent volunteers for making this transition as smooth as possible for all of us. We hope you are settling into a comfortable routine and have been enjoying your first couple of weeks at PCNS as much as we are. We also want to express our gratitude to all who helped open the school during our Open School Days. Thanks to your hard work, the school was clean, organized, and inviting for our children when they arrived. It was a pleasure getting to meet some of you at Parent Training, and we hope to see you again at our annual Parent Get-Together at Kings Bend Park on September 30th at 7 PM. We hope you can attend! Its a great way to get to know each other and have a night out without the kiddos. A few reminders from The Board: Please be sure to double check the housekeeping calendar outside your childs classroom and/or on the website, and be sure to initial your name when the task is complete. It is our diligence that keeps our school an organized and healthy environment for our children. Sporty Sprouts and Music will start this week! We hope your little ones have fun and you enjoy the additional time. Our first annual PCNS Family Movie Night will be held on October 15th from 5-7 pm. Thank you to Jennifer Pierson, Marie Thomas and the Special Events Committee for organizing this fun event! Finally, we encourage you to contact the appropriate committee chair with any questions, ideas, or concerns. We recently made a change to our Board meeting schedule. Board meetings will be scheduled for the last Wednesday of each month and are open to all parents. Please remember that the Board meeting minutes will be posted outside of Teresas office for those who are interested. Have a fun-filled October!
