  12. So what seems to be the problem? • Despite the desire and popularity of living in single and multi-family dwellings in Créteil, France, many people are unable to economically afford housing. By discovering new ways of designing, solutions can be generated for this housing problem. - Two Issues – • 1.) the lack of affordable housing for students and low-income familiesin Créteil, France • 2.) the abundance of shipping containers that are considered non-reusable

The Design Proposal - • The shipping container module home design would provide living accommodations for students, low-income families, and those who would like to live smaller and more economically. • This design would react to the current problems of reuse, sustainability, and financial struggles in the area as well as the over abundance of empty shipping containers available.
