    Insurance Training

  2. Our Business Most important thing in recruiting and sales is getting people to like and trust you
  3. Master the Art of Asking Questions If you say it, they doubt it. If they say it, it’s true Be assumptive when talking to people Next logical step is to take action
  4. Two Things We’re Guaranteed We’re going to die We’re going to pay taxes
  5. Not a Question It’s not a question of IF we’re going to die, but WHEN?
  6. Questions When Presenting the Theory of Decr. Resp. If you died today, what kind of condition would you like to leave your family in financially? If you died today, how long would your savings last? What’s the face amount of your life insurance policy….How long would that last? So, they’re out of money…what happens then? What would they do? Who’d raise your babies if your wife had to work?
  7. Typically… Typically when I sit down with families, it’s generally because: Didn’t get around to it Didn’t think they could afford it Didn’t think they needed it
  8. My Job Find the need and help close it What they have, what would happen, and what they would want to happen
  9. Get Them to See the Need What would you want to happen to your family if you died today? If you died today, how long would your company continue sending paychecks to your family? Would the bills stop? Which of these bills would need to be paid? How much per month would your family need to maintain their standard of living? How important is your income to your family? Would you like to partially protect your family or fully? If you died today, would you want your family to be better, worse, or the same?
  10. 10 Times Rule $36K = 1 year $72K = 2 years $360K = Indefinitely
  11. Triplicate Same, better, or give up a little? Which fills your family’s needs and wants, but also fits your budget?
  12. Process Close
  13. You Wouldn’t Want… You wouldn’t want your family to lose everything that you’ve been working so hard to provide, would you? The life that they’ve become accustomed to
  14. Writing Checks Do you write a check for your car? Cable tv? What’s more important, car or family?
  15. Painting the Picture What does everybody think at a funeral? How long do the casseroles last? It’s your life…your lifestyle…it’s just your family Lose the house In heaven, you see your wife and kids moving to the hood, worse schools…goals and dreams go away Wife marrying just to settle
  16. Group Do you want your financial future based upon what happens to your company? Uninsurable Can only get when healthy; how soon can your insurability change? 500,000 people a year in America die in the prime of their life. Car accident
  17. Reduction You make $6,000 a month. What % of $6,000 is $82? Doesn’t it make sense to use 2% of your income to protect 100% of it? That’s why life insurance is so logical…everybody needs (everybody is going to die and have no savings)
  18. Embarass Who wants to be a burden on their family…who wants that? Your kids? How does that make you feel as a man…I don’t have the money to protect my family? Isn’t it your responsibility to provide for your family? Why would that go away? You had the kids!
  19. Cheaper Term Do you live in the cheapest neighborhood? Do you drive the cheapest car? When does the cheapest get you the best?
  20. Not Accepting Excuses of No Money Do you think you can make an extra $83/month in America? Start a lawn care business or gutter cleaning service
  21. Why Cut Back? You’re barely making it on $60K We’re sweating $80 a month?
  22. Budget Cable tv Gas Water Eating out
  23. Research Why? What do you think you’re going to find out? That you don’t need insurance? I’ve already done the research Why I work here
  24. Shop
  25. We Do What’s Right If we don’t do it, who will? Convert whole life to term The bank converts you to whole life Very few families have the right amount of the right kind If they could do it on their own, they wouldn’t be broke! Wouldn’t need us!
