  2. Chocolate Muffins This presentation will inform you on what ingredients are needed to make chocolate muffins and teach you how to make them.

Ingredients • 1 1/2 -2 cups all purpose flour • 1 cup sugar • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder • 2 teaspoons baking powder • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda • 1/4 teaspoon salt • 2 large eggs lightly beaten • 1 cup milk • 1 cup (1 stick) butter melted • 1/2 cup chocolate chips • Suggested toppings: chocolate chips, icing, butter, strawberries

  4. Directions • Preheat oven to 375˚F and grease or line with paper cup-cake liners, a 12 cup muffin pan. • Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt in a medium bowl. Whisk to blend. • Add the eggs, milk, and melted butter. Stir until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips. Spoon into the prepared pan. • Bake until puffed and a toothpick inserted in centre comes clean; this should take about 18 to 20 minutes. • Invert and cool completely. Makes 12 muffins.

  5. Results and Toppings Your finished product should be 12 moist and delicious muffins. If desired who may add a topping of your choice, after spooning the batter into the pan sprinkle the topping on top.
