  1. The Story of Jessie and Truffles By Isabel

  2. Once upon a time there was a happy family with two children named Daisy and Hampton Lindt, and Mr. and Mrs. Lindt. Now they happened to have a very silly dog named Truffles.

  3. One day they went on vacation to the beach. They had a very lazy house sitter. She let Truffles outside, he saw a squirrel and he chased it! It ran up a tree and he looked around none of this seemed familiar to him… he realized he was lost!

  4. So he jumped in a boxcar on a train, and he saw a big golden retriever. She said her name was Jessie Smith. Suddenly the boxcar broke away from the train. Jessie and Truffles were scared. The driver never noticed the boxcar was missing! The boxcar landed in a deep dark forest.

  5. Now the forest happened to be the home of Esmeralda the bad black cat witch! Esmeralda saw the dogs and wanted to them! Good thing they saw her. She used a sweet voice to try to lure them out, but they could see her. Next she dressed up as a dog, but they could smell her.

  6. Last she got a big juicy bone and hid in a bush, but they could hear her so she went home to think of a new plan, but she forgot to take the bone and net with her. Truffles and Jessie ate the bone, got the net, and found a fish.

  7. They went to Esmeralda’s house, put out the fish, hid behind a bush, and waited. She came out and ate the fish and they threw the net over her caught her! They took her to the SPCA and a king bought her.

  8. May the good witch white lab was so glad to get rid of Esmeralda that she granted Jessie and Truffles a wish! Jessie wished to live with Truffles family and Truffles wished to see his family. There wish was granted and they lived happily ever after.
