  1. SOLID WOODEN FLOORING Solid Wood Flooring is a natural, 99 percent wood product made from a single piece of solid wood that has been cut to the proper size. It adds a lovely touch to your home and is extremely powerful and long-lasting. Solid wood flooring has a longer lifespan and has a timeless and captivating appearance. There are a variety of wood types, board sizes, and finishes to choose from. Oak, American Walnut, Burma Teak, Cumaru, Jatoba, and other types of wood are available. You also have the option of refinishing your flooring on a regular basis if necessary. It expands and contracts as the temperature increases and lowers, as well as as moisture levels fluctuate. Hardwood floors are ideal for practically every area in the house, including the living room, dining room, bedrooms, and corridors. They're frequently found in kitchens, but moisture can cause warping over time. Maintain the floors by using mats or throw rugs in locations where water may drip, such as near the sink. Solid wood flooring aren't normally advised for bathrooms because the high moisture level makes them difficult to maintain, but they can function here with careful care. It's better to avoid hardwood floors in basements because, once again, dampness is the issue. How Long Will It Last? Solid wood flooring can last for 100 years or more and requires no maintenance. Design Alternatives: Solid hardwood comes in more than 50 domestic and exotic species, ranging from traditional favorites like maple, red and white oak, and pine to more contemporary possibilities like bamboo (not technically a wood, but classed as one), jarrah, and purpleheart. Prefinished and raw solid hardwood are both available. Unfinished flooring is ideal for matching existing flooring since it may be tinted to the desired color. Wax, oil, and urethane finishes are available in a variety of matte to high gloss levels. To achieve an old patina, hardwood can be distressed or hand-scraped. Parquet is a technique and a style of flooring that uses small pieces of wood to create geometric patterns. Machine-cutting wood made parquet more inexpensive by the late 1800s. Borders and medallions were also added to the mix. A border in a Victorian home could be as basic as a single contrasting wood band or as intricate as a Greek key design with two or three contrasting woods. In the early twentieth century, herringbone became a popular parquet pattern. Kingsmen is a well-known brand Solid Wooden Flooring Company In Bangalore.
