For those who choose our Mecca-Medina package, these special Ziyarat are part of the journey. We provide detailed information about some of the most important Ziyarat Places In Makkah and Madinah. Umrah is a beautiful journey that allows Muslims to visit the sacred sites of Makkah and Madinah. It is an act of love and a way to cleanse the soul. Umrah can be performed at any time of the year and involves specific rituals, including Tawaf and Sa’i. Local Ziyarat Places in Makkah (Mecca) 1.Jabal Thawr

  2. Jabal Thawr is one of the mountains surrounding the valley where Makkah lies. This mountain houses the special Thawr Cave, where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Abu Bakr (RA) sought refuge for three days, hiding from the Quraish tribe. Allah protected them by having a spider weave a web at the cave's entrance, making it seem as though no one had entered. This divine protection kept their enemies from finding them, allowing the Prophet (PBUH) and Abu Bakr (RA) to remain safe. Mount Thawr is located about 12KM south of Makkah. 2.Jabal e Noor Jabal e Noor, also known as the Mountain of Light or Hill of Light, is an important mountain where the Cave of Hira is located. The historic Cave of Hira, found at the top of this mountain at a height of 634 meters, holds vast importance as it is the place where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received the first revelation of the Holy Quran from Allah (SWT). The Prophet (PBUH) often visited this cave, seeking privacy for deep thought and reflection. This is one of the must-visit Ziyarat Places In Makkah. 3.Jabal Rahmah Jabal Rahmah, one of the most significant historic sites in Makkah, is a small mountain in Arafat where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed and supplicated during his farewell pilgrimage. This site holds deep divine value as it is where the Prophet delivered his Farewell Sermon to the Muslims who had joined him for Hajj towards the end of his life. Visiting this holy spot allows travelers to connect with the profound history of Islam and the teachings of the Prophet. 4.Mina Mina is a peaceful valley located 6 kilometers east of the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. It holds deep significance in the Hajj journey, where pilgrims stay overnight on the 8th, 11th, and 12th (and some even on the 13th) of Dhul Hijjah. Mina is closely linked to the powerful story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and the test he faced when Allah SWT commanded him to sacrifice his son, Prophet Ismail (AS). By Allah's grace, a lamb appeared and was sacrificed instead, symbolizing faith and submission to Allah. 5.Arafat Mount Arafat, located about 20 kilometers southeast of Makkah, is a revered site in Islam. It is where Muslim pilgrims gather on the 9th day of Dhul Hijjah, known as the Day of Arafah. On this holy day, pilgrims leave Mina and come to Mount Arafat to stand in prayer, reciting the Holy Quran. This mountain is significant because it is where our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) delivered his final sermon to the Muslims who joined him for Hajj. 6.Masjid Al Fath One of the highlights of your visit will be the Masjid Al Fath, located at the site of the historic Battle of Ahzab. This small but significant mosque is perched atop a small hill, offering a unique view to the west. It is one of the most visited mosques in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and is revered for its connection to a crucial moment in Islamic history. The mosque's name, Al-Fath, means "victory," echoing deeply with those who visit. 7.Jannat ul Mu'alla

  3. One of the important places we visit during our Ziyarat is Jannat ul-Mualla, also known as Al-Hajun. This famous graveyard is located in Makkah in present-day Saudi Arabia, southeast of the Masjid al-Haram. Jannat ul-Mualla holds great historical significance as it is the final resting place of Prophet Muhammad's wife, grandfather, and many of his family members. The cemetery is located near the Mosque of the Jinn, making it a deeply revered site for visitors. Local Ziyarat Places In Madinah 1. Masjid e Quba Among the important places visited during Umrah is the Masjid e Quba. This mosque holds a very special place in the hearts of Muslims as it is the first mosque in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) personally laid the foundation stone of Masjid e Quba with his blessed hands. The mosque was built by the Prophet's followers, the Migrants (Muhajirun) and the Helpers (Ansar). 2. Saba Masajid (Seven Mosques) The Seven Mosques, also known as Saba Masajid, are a group of small historic mosques located on the western side of the Sala Mountain in Madinah. The name Saba means seven, and these mosques were originally named so because there were seven of them. Today, six mosques remain in the complex. These mosques are located near a part of the trench dug by Muslims during the Battle of the Trench in the lifetime of the Prophet (PBUH) to protect the city of Madinah from the Quraysh. Due to their connection to this important event, these mosques hold immense historical importance in Islam. 3. Qiblatain Mosque One of the most important historical mosques in Madinah is the Qiblatain Mosque, where Allah honored the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by fulfilling his wish to change the Qiblah direction from Jerusalem to the Kaaba. This event is marked by the verse, "We will surely turn you to a Qiblah with which you will be pleased." The mosque is located northwest of Madinah near the Al-Aqiq Valley and was historically known as the Bani Salimah Mosque due to its location within the quarters of the Bani Salimah tribe. 4. Ghazwa Uhud The Ghazwa Uhud is one of the most significant events in early Islamic history. It took place on the 3rd of Shawwal in the 3rd year of the Islamic calendar. The battle happened near Mount Uhud, close to Madinah. The Muslims, led by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), clashed with the Quraysh army. Initially, the Muslims were winning, but they lost the battle because some left their positions too early, thinking they had already won. Today, the site of the Battle of Uhud is open for visitors, where people come to remember this pivotal event. 5. Masjid Bilal This mosque holds deep historical and religious significance for Muslims. It is named after Hazrat Bilal, who was the first Muazzin in Islam, the person responsible for calling others to daily prayers. Hazrat Bilal was known for his beautiful voice that resonated across the land, inviting the faithful to prayer. Once a slave, he became a close friend of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and his story is a symbol of faith, perseverance, and equality in Islam.
