  3. Mountain Pose is a good foundation for many other yoga poses. Stand tall with your feet together and your arms at your sides. Engage your core and lengthen your spine. Ground your feet into the floor and lift the crown of your head towards the sky. Hold the pose for 5-10 breaths.

  4. Downward-Facing Dog is a versatile pose that stretches the hamstrings Start on your hands and knees with your hands shoulder-width apart and your knees hip-width apart. Tuck your toes under and lift your hips up and back, forming an inverted V-shape with your body. Keep your back straight and your heels pressing towards the ground. Hold the pose for 5-10 breaths.

  5. Cat-Cow Pose is a gentle pose that stretches the back and neck. Start on your hands and knees with your hands shoulder-width apart and your knees hip-width apart. On an inhale, arch your back and lift your head and tailbone. On an exhale, round your back and tuck your chin to your chest. Repeat for 5-10 breaths.

  6. Child's Pose is a resting pose that helps to soothe the mind and body. Kneel on the floor with your knees hip-width apart and your toes touching. Sit back on your heels and fold forward, resting your forehead on the ground. Extend your arms out in front of you. Hold the pose for 5-10 breaths.

Hold the pose for 5-10 minutes. Tips for Beginners Listen to your body and don't push yourself too hard. If you feel any pain, come out of the pose. Use props, such as blocks and straps, to support your body in the poses. Breathe deeply and evenly throughout your practice. Focus on your breath and the sensations in your body.
