  1. Digilogic's Hydrophone Calibration System is based on a modular architecture that includes a Signal source Generator, High-Speed signal activation capability, Insulation Resistance Measurement capability, Multiplexer switching hardware, and a High-end processor. The System calibrates and compares the Test Hydrophones with the Standard Projector & Receiver Hydrophones by employing Reciprocity, Comparison, and Directivity principles.

  2. The Hydrophone Calibration System offered by Digilogic Systems is an enhanced alternative to standard systems, boosting a range of new features including expanded channel testing capabilities, a wider array of test options, significantly reduced testing times from days to hours, and fully automated report generation. As a result, users experience streamlined hydrophone calibration processes, requiring less effort while enjoying increased productivity. The Challenge: Developing a digital calibration system for underwater acoustic transducers (hydrophones) that are used in underwater applications such as ocean bottom profiling, underwater telephony etc.

  3. Features of Hydrophone Calibration System: • Capable of calibrating a maximum of 64 hydrophones at once. • Integrated Insulation Resistance Measurement. • Capable to generate CW burst with minimum burst duration of 0.5 ms. • Capable of generating CW frequency of 2 kHz to 1 MHz. • Pulse Repetitive Rate of 20 ms. • Averaging of 1 to 20. • Measurements, Amplification/Attenuation, frequency analysis and signal processing on the fly to estimate signal parameters to help further processing and analysis. • Customized configuration and Automated Report Generation based on the tests conducted.
