  1. Tropical Rainforest!!! (biomes) Abdulla Alsubai 6D

  2. A map of where tropical rainforests are located. • This shows where my biome is located all around the world (tropical rainforest) • <http://images.nationalgeographic.com/wpf/media-live/photos/000/063/cache/map-world-rainforest_6367_600x450.jpg>.

  3. the important abiotic factors that affect the animals and plants in your biome • The biotic factors of this rainforest biome are the amount of water, sunlight and climate. These things affect the trees and animals that live there. These are very important because with the right amount of water and sunlight the trees in the rainforest would be able to grow and would not die. These factors also affect the types of plants and animals that can live in this area.

  4. Animals and plants that are adapted in rainforests 1) Animals: toucan, sloth and tree snail. 2) plants: the bambusa tulda, the particular bamboo and the bambusatulda. The plants and animals in the rainforests need to get the most sunlight possible, because the forest floor can be dark under the canopy (sunshade). They do this by growing very quickly, or by growing in the branches of larger plants (orchids). They also need a huge amount of rain to photosynthesize. "Animals and Plants in the Rainforest." 5. What are resources found in the biome (rainforest) trees: are made for paper, furniture wood. Plants & fruits: are for eating and some plants provide medicine. Timber for furniture Forests: are homes for most animals Food: nuts, green , vegetables • Folklife.si.edu/resources/maroon/. Web. 2012. <http://www.folklife.si.edu/resources/maroon/foodways/more.htm>.

  6. How has science helped discover the resources that we can use ? Medicine: They research about plants that can cure the sick. They research new materials to cure. Mineral, soil: The companies research for minerals and soil in there labs to help us, the community for our needs. Timber: They cut wood for furniture and also paper.

  7. What are the activities that damages the rainforest • The role of humans in the deforestation of the world's forests is considerable and extensive. Many activities contribute to this loss including subsistence activities, oil extraction, logging, mining, fires, war, commercial agriculture, cattle ranching, hydroelectric projects, pollution, hunting and poaching, the collection of fuel wood and building material, and road construction. Cutting down trees too.

  8. interactions • Environment: tress are cut for timber than the biome is destroyed. Also animals for food. • Society : they use plants for medicine and then health jobs use it to cure the sick. • Money: people get payed for destroying the rainforest. by selling oil they make money for fuel. by using plants we can make medicine. For food and plants are sold for eating.
