  3. Writing with Kurzweil • Very similar to a Word document • Reads to you when typing • Organizational tools include: • Brainstorm (concept map) • Outline • Side by side view • Writing tools: definition, synonym, syllable, spell, highlight (erase), predictive text, spell check, etc.

  4. Blio (affordable Kurzweil option) • Created by Kurzweil Technologies and the National Federation of the Blind to make books accessible to all readers • Free application • “Blio Bookstore” where you can buy eBooks • Downside: voice is not as realistic as Kurzweil
