  1. HSD Hadron String Dynamics HSD predictions for dielectron background

  2. HSD Hadron String DynamicsHSD autors: prof.Dr.Dr.W.Cassing, Dr.E.L.Bratkovskaya, Dr.W.Ehenhalt, Dr.J.Geiss, Dr.S.Juchem • HSD provide us with possibility to calculate multiplicities of charmed mesons • Recent implementations made by Dr.E.L.Bratkovskaya ensure also dN/dM, dN/dy, dN/dpt distribution calculations for pi0 Dalitz, eta Dalitz, omega Dalitz, delta Dalitz, eta prim Dalitz, omega(e+e-), rho(e+e-), phi(e+e-), J/Psi(e+e-),Psi'(e+e-) • Future step(s) is(are), developing interface(s) for using HSD as real event generator in GEANT type of simmulations • Following distributions are calculated by Dr.E.L.Bratkovskaya

  3. HSD Hadron String Dynamics • HSD source code and papers are available at : www.th.physik.uni-frankfurt.de/~brat/hsd.html • HSD V2.4 includes charm available only from autors by special request • HSD V2.4 upgrated with dilepton procedures not yet officially available • Recommended readings: • W. Ehehalt and W. Cassing, 'Relativistic transport approach for nucleus-nucleus collisions from SIS to SPS' Nucl. Phys. A 602 (1996) 449 -486 • J. Geiss, W. Cassing and C. Greiner • `Strangeness production in the HSD transport approach from SIS to SPS energies' • Nucl. Phys. A 644 (1998) 107-138 • W. Cassing and E.L. Bratkovskaya • `Hadronic and electromagnetic probes of hot and dense nuclear matter'
