What the Board will Do Format: Statutory Committee of the Council (Early Implementer) Broad partnership – core membership in the Bill Shared responsibilities… Local Authority and the GP Consortium Key roles: • Strategic overview of the health and social care system in Herefordshire • Bringing together everyone concerned with H&WB • Production of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment • Production of a Health and Well Being Strategy • But… flexibility to deliver what is best for the area

Herefordshire Partnership H&WB Policy & Delivery Group What has worked well: Establishing a broad based partnership Engaging elected Members: community leadership Debate about priorities Managing difficult messages Working with providers… getting their insight Commissioners/providers considering different solutions Things to build on: • Partnership capital • Health improvement plan • Potential for integration and efficiencies But… it will be different

Community Engagement • How can we build genuine engagement & participation in H&WB with residents and communities? Priorities • What are the most important things we need to do? • What do we need to do next?
