End of Year PPV Process

QOF team will review each Practice submission on QMAS including:-

  • Prevalence
  • Exceptions
  • Big changes in the register size
  • Outstanding actions from Profiling letter or QOF Visits
  • Grade A Evidence

Practices will be contacted if the PPV results will have an impact on payments

QOF Process 2008/9

  • Approved by the PEC 5 March 2008
  • Sent to LMC for comment (no comments received to date)

Changes to 2007/8 process

  • 3 routine random visits
  • Non executive Director may attend some Practice visits
  • QOF Review Group (looking at the Practice data) – Heads of Departments may send deputies where appropriate

5% Review Visits 2007/08

  • 3 practices randomly selected by PEC 5 March 08, selected practices will be notified by 31 March 08. Visits will be undertaken in June/July 2008
