  1. Welcome to Fourth Grade Woodland Elementary Open House August 27, 2013

  2. Standards This is the second year we are teaching the Common Core Georgia Performance Standards. Last year, Georgia joined 44 other states, the District of Columbia (D.C.), and 2 territories, along with the Department of Defense Education Activity, in formally adopting a set of core standards for kindergarten through high school in English language arts, mathematics, and grades 6-12 literacy in science, history/social studies, and technical subjects. The CCGPS provide a consistent framework to prepare students for success in college and/or the 21st century workplace. These standards represent a common sense next step from the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS). Click on Icons for Standards

  7. Field Trips We are planning two away field trip and a couple of in-house field trips. These will be confirmed in the near future and more information sent home. We will provide you with the price for all trips, and information on a payment schedule. We have been asked a lot…and yes….we will go fishing in the Spring 
