Revelation 9:1And I saw a star fall from the sky to the earth
Revelation 9:1And the star was given the key to the pit of the abyss
Revelation 9:2And great amount of smoke came out of the abyss, like the smoke from a great furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke.
Revelation 9:3And out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth.
Revelation 9:4And they were told not to harm the grass of the earth, the trees, or any green thing, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
Revelation 9:5And they were told not to kill them, but to torture them for five months, and their torture was like that of a scorpion when it stings a person.
Revelation 9:7 and 8 The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were like human faces, their hair was like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth. They had breastplates like iron breastplates. And the noise of their wings was like many chariots and horses rushing into battle.
Revelation 9:10They have tails like scorpions with stingers, and in their tails is their power to torture people for five months
Revelation 9:11 As king over them they have the angel of the abyss whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.
Revelation 9:13-14Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet and I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar before God, saying to the sixth angel, 'Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.'
Revelation 9:15And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour were released to kill a third of mankind.
Revelation 9:16-17The number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million. The riders had breastplates of fire, of sapphire, and of sulfur. The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions.
Revelation 9:17-18And out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and sulfur. A third of humankind was killed by these three plagues. By the fire...
Revelation 9:18...and by the sulfur that that came out of their mouths.
Revelation 9:19The power of the horses was is in their mouths and in their tails. For their tails are like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.
Revelation 9:20The rest of humankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not give up worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk.
Revelation 9:21And they did not repent of their murders, their use of magic, their sexual immorality, or their stealing.
