Each year lightning strikes North America an estimated 25-100 million times. Occasionally, trees are struck, but of these twenty percent may not show any visible injury and damage may be minor. In other cases, trees can be destroyed as the electicity from the lightning vaporizes water in the tree trunk which then expands and literally splits the tree open. In other cases damage may be slight to moderate with only a strip of bark being "blasted off" one side of the tree, usually from top to bottom.
Hail can severely damage all plants. The severity of the damage depends on the size of the hailstones and the time of the year that the hailstorm occurs. The later in the growing season that hail damage occurs the less time plants have to recover and store energy for the winter. On annuals and perennials leaves, stems and flowers may be shredded, torn and knocked off. On trees and shrubs leaves, twigs and branches may be tattered, split and broken. Fruit may be pitted and knocked to the ground. The trees may take a very long time to recover. The damage increases the vulnerability of the trees to decay causing fungi and insect activity.

Comet 67P appears to have a regolith, rocks, boulders, cliffs and craters. It is very dark (low albedo) but when asked ESA scientists suggested if it has a colour then it is red. Asteroids are said to turn red with age.
Pregnancy/Lactation Avoid use. Documented abortifacient and emmenagogue effects. Interactions A single case report suggests that wormwood may increase the international normalized ratio (INR) with warfarin. Adverse Reactions The volatile oil thujone in wormwood produces a state of excitement and is a powerful convulsant. Repeated ingestion of wormwood may result in absinthism, a syndrome characterized by digestive disorders, thirst, restlessness, vertigo, trembling of the limbs, numbness of the extremities, loss of intellect, delirium, paralysis, and death. Toxicology Wormwood is classified as an unsafe herb by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) because of the neurotoxic potential of thujone and its derivatives; it is generally regarded as safe if it is thujone free. The safety of wormwood is poorly documented despite its long history as a food additive. Convulsions, dermatitis, and renal failure have been reported.
