Retail Workload Valor Analysis for Efficient Operational Planning

Follow these 3 steps to calculate retail workload value for operational planning: 1) Determine total workload value by applying a 10% increase, subtract PM admin and retail hours, then divide by total days open. 2) Divide new retail earnings by the appropriate factor based on days open. 3) Add daily retail earnings to the total daily hours earned to calculate the POStPlan SOV.

  1. Variance Summary Step 1 Take the Workload Value 1510.48 times 10% or 1.1. Total is 1661.53. Take Retail Hours of 212 times 10%, new retail total is 233.2. Subtract PM Admin Hours and new Retail Hours from Workload Value and divide total by 308 if open 6 days, 257 if open 5 days. New total earned per day is 3.0043 Step 2 Divide new retail earned by 257 if retail is open 5 days or 282.5 if open 5.5 days. For this office we divide 233.2/282.5 Equals .826 Step 3 Add daily retail .826 to the daily earned from Step 1. 3.004 plus .826 equals 3.83. This is the total daily hours earned POStPlan SOV
