  2. Last week March 01, 2011 while group Supervisor Fahad I. Al-Rasheedi 266826was doing his routine patrol trip using vehicle AB-2083 “TOYOTA land Cruiser” on Right Of Way. Suddenly the engine got its maximum pressure and the speed escalating. The breaks couldn’t stop and the gear was locked completely due to the D mode of the gear couldn’t stop the engine. After it reached the 120 km/h on ROW road and God willing, the gear re-functioning again by force to be shifted from D to N mode and he was able to turn the engine off. The current situation :

The Corrective Action: The shop take over the vehicle and we starting searching in the owner’s manual with live test of all vehicle of the same model we find that the driver able to stop the engine in such as case of what we had by keep press the start/stop button for five seconds; even if it’s in D mode. Transportation unit will send the vehicle to Abqaia to make sure it is a manufacturing error.
