Warm Up • Before I sit down in my seat, what am I supposed to do? • If there is a fire drill, where do I go to leave the building? • If I am going to get a new pencil, how do I walk in the room? • If Mrs. Wolf “needs my help,” what does she want me to do? • When Mrs. Wolf shuts the music off, what should I do?

  2. Whole Class Discussion • Raise your hand and wait to be called on before speaking. • Look at the student who is speaking. • Stay seated.

  3. Group Work • Transitions should be silent. • You will have 30 seconds to transition into your group. • Stay silent so Mrs. Wolf can give the directions. • When I say go…

  4. Malleable adjective 1. capable of being extended or shaped by hammering or by pressure from rollers. • adaptable or tractable Synonyms: impressionable, moldable, flexible, pliable. Antonyms: refractory, intractable.

  5. Write the definition of Malleable in your own words. • The definition must be the same for your whole group.

  6. Draw a picture of the definition.

  7. Compare what you drew with your group mates.

  8. Malleable intelligence • As a group read the article on malleable intelligence. • Answer each question in the article.
