  2. FLIS Regio Mission “The FLIS Regio Platform will enhance forward looking in environmental decisions and planning in general and in respect of multi-disciplinary and long-term responsibility.”

  3. FLIS RegioAims The Aim of the FLIS Regio Platform is to undertake forward looking activities for environmental related questions broader than only national context. Among other things, this means: Strengthening collaboration between experts and institutions on forward looking, environmental related issues Coordination of relevant forward looking activities in participating countries Coordination of participation in relevant tenders in local, national and European level Exchange of know-how and experiences on forward looking methods and tools Implement forward looking projects on regional, cross border, trans-border and European level Screening relevant tenders and programs for forward looking projects Exchange on forward looking activities to be performed in reports, e.g. SOER

Aims: Strengthening collaboration between experts and institutions Coordination of relevant forward looking activities in participating countries Coordination of participation in relevant tenders in local, national and European level Exchange of know-how and experiences on forward looking methods and tools Needs for services: institutional level (e.g. regular use of WebEx) Tool for description of FL-Studies in countries Offers / Needs – Platformwithnotifyingservice Semantictoolsformegatrends, trends, uncertainties, weak signals, wild cards, indicators, scenarios, methods/models in countries and institutions

Aims: Implement forward looking projects on regional, cross border, trans-border and European level Exchange on forward looking activities to be performed in reports, e.g. SOER Needs for services: Communication channels(e.g. forum, contact lists, peer group)First step: bestpractice-sitePlatformforfinancingmechanisms / programs Interactive discussion tool Use of virtual meetings (e.g. WebEx)

  6. FLIS Regioneedsfor Services Questions to be elaborated: Howdoes regional collaborationwork?Whereisneedforimprovementtohaveitmoreinstitutionallythaninformallysupportedby Services / Tools? Whichexistingtoolscanalreadybeused / arealready in use? What are the most urgent needed tools? Which project could be used as pilot ore use case (SOER) ? Who is willing / able to contibute? How can we perform the process of developing the tools?
