  2. Bullying Can Take Several Forms Physical Bullying • Hitting, kicking, shoving, spitting, beating up, stealing or damaging property. Verbal Bullying • Name-calling, mocking, hurtful teasing, humiliating, threatening, racist comments.

  3. Bullying • Excluding others from the group, • Rolling of eyes, • Tossing of hair, • Ignoring someone, • Gossiping, • Spreading rumors, • Setting others up to look foolish, • Damaging friendships, • Telling secrets.

  4. Cyber Bullying: • Physically threatens, • Says things to bother you (verbally harasses) • Leaves you out of a group of friends (socially exclude). Using: E-mail • Cell phones • Text messages, • Internet sites, etc..

  5. We know that BULLYING can cause ... • Some kids to avoid school and school activities • Some kids not to learn • Some kids to change schools • Some kids to feel lonely • Some kids to worry and feel sad

  6. So what does all of this mean? • Your parents and teachers want to hear your concerns. • These behaviours are against school rules • When you tell your parent/teachers they will decide when and how to help.
