  2. Topic hubs and sector resources are categorized by subject area

  3. “Detail” pages list topic hubs and links to sector resources

  4. There’s also an alphabetic list of topic hubs

  5. There are 42 hubs currently available Hubs are chosen based on regional priorities, national need or priorities and center expertise

  6. Many hubs are planned for FY03. More will be proposed for FY04

  7. Topic hubs have navigation on the left. Each section includes “best links” for that section

  8. Narrative sections include basic information and “core links”

  9. Search function is available for the links list

  10. “Topic” hubs can cover “Industrial sectors” or “Topics”

  11. Some topic hubs are “shared” on other sites

  12. Content sharing makes hubs appear to belong to the “host” center

  13. Use Sector Hub checklist to assure requirements are met (for industrial sector hubs) Choose topic hub (based on regional priorities, national need or priorities and Center expertise) P2Rx editor performs editorial review (use editorial checklist) P2Rx web editor performs web review (use web review checklist) Use guidance document to write hub (Overall guidance document provides requirements and suggestions, use appropriate checklists at this point also) Convene focus group (include direct and ultimate information recipients) Compile Resources (gather all applicable resources for use in the hub) Center gets final technical review done ( use tech content checklist) Center makes suggested changes and publishes Use Topic Hub checklist to assure requirements are met (for topic hubs)

  15. National P2 Programs directory is currently available P2Rx will share directory with NPPR

  16. Program Directory “mock up” for the next version New version available by Fall ‘03

  17. Projects are often initiated in the region, and “go national”

  18. Mercury reduction programs database began in Region 1 & 2

  19. Programs from across the country are listed

  20. The P2 Planner from Region 6 may “go national” in the future

  21. Partnerships • NPPR – news, Program directory, IT workgroup, possibly research work group • P2WIN – may content share topic hubs • GreenBiz.com – may content share hubs, GreenBiz will support news
