Gingivitis is a mild and common form of periodontal disease (gum disease) that results in redness and inflammation of the gingival (part of the gum around the base of teeth) and irritation. If left untreated, it can lead to tooth loss and periodontitis. In each of these cases, you have to add a few drops of the essential oil to lukewarm water and then gargle with it 2-3 times a day. 3.Oil-pulling: This treatment means swishing oil in the mouth for 20- 30 minutes so that toxins and bacteria get eliminated and oral health is restored. Coconut oil pulling Arimedadi oil pulling is the most common oil pulling treatment for gingivitis. 4.Topical treatments: This includes applying: Clove: It helps in reducing plaque and inflammation Turmeric gel: It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and helps to control bleeding and redness in the gums.
