Annantalo Arts Centre • Arteducationalunit of Helsinki City Culture Office • Thebuildingwasoriginally a primaryschooldesigned in 1886. • One centurylater, in 1987 it wasconvertedby the City of Helsinki into an artscentre for children and youth. • Annantalo is a multidisciplinaryartcentrewhichprovideschildren, youngpeople and families of Helsinki arteducation, exhibitions, festivals, performances and eventsthroughschoolprograms and freetimeactivities. • Part of theCultural Services department, one of thesevenculturalcenters in Helsinki, onlyonededicated to children and youth
