WhyAshwamedha Yagnya? • It is spiritual process for purification. • Purpose: Purify subtle Environment and restoration of Ecological balance. • According to Scriptures It is supreme amongst all kind of Yagnya • It transforms divine thinking of Vedas in to universal thinking through spread of true knowledge & Love • Educate society about spirituality on scientific basis

  2. Why Ashwamedha • Bring divinity in community through self up-liftment & evolve ideal society in the nation • Get rid of Animal instincts and beastly behavior • Awaken latent potential in human being & organize and mobilize them for welfare of society

  3. What is Meaning of Ashwamedha? • “Ashwa” means Evil Instincts • “Medha” signify uprooting • It is process of uprooting evils in human beings. • In olden times territories are conquered, now by participation in Ashwamedha let us conquer others’ mind by true love and affection

  7. How Ashwamedha performed? • It is large scale sacred fire ceremony • Ritualistic fires are lit in special Altar called Agnikund,We shall have 252 Agnikunda • Wood and various herbs are offered in fire • Specific mantras are recited.

Benefits of Ashwamedha • It brings prosperity to nation • Remove subtle pollution from Environment • Participation with faith leads to fulfillment of material and spiritual aspiration • It unites society towards progress of nation • It increases true consciousness by offering oblations to “SUN-GOD”
