General Relocation Status • Approximately 1,200 families have moved to Section 8 since the Plan began • Approximately 50% of relocatees each year will move to the private market • In 2002, a little more than 1,000 families are going through relocation • 92% of residents completed their Housing Choice Surveys

Relocation Counseling – Opportunity Focus Relocation Process – First Moves • Opportunity/Mobility Overviews - Relocation Planning Meetings - all residents - Voucher Briefings - residents that receive a voucher • Placement - Any family indicating an interest in low poverty areas are shown units in low poverty - Families get Opportunity Counseling if they request it • Post Move Follow-up (late 2002) - Outreach to all relocatees as a priority for mobility workshops - 2nd Movers Program – CHAC Mobility Counseling
