  2. Gym Classes Each student must attend gym at their scheduled time There is a gym class during every period Gym classes usually consist of either two sophomore and freshman classes, or two senior and junior classes Each class is assigned squads for stretching and attendance

  3. Gym Routine Each class waits in squads until told to go change into gym clothes Each student must change or they are marked unprepared Once changed, each class stretches Then each class waits until they are given an activity

  4. Phys Ed. Activities Some games we play are… Gym Hockey Speedball Pinball Football Basketball Soccer(World Cup) Ultimate Frisbee Pickleball Badminton

  5. Speedball Two teams Throw ball to teammates Cannot run with the ball Use teamwork

  6. Pickleball Played on a tennis court Use small wooden paddles Small plastic balls Rally back and fourth Similar to tennis!

  7. Badminton Very popular James’s favorite gym game Hit back and forth over the net

  8. Importance Gym at PV is no joking matter As a school, we are well-known for our gym classes Each year we hold gym class tournaments in which each grade fights to earn points for the Valley Cup Phys Ed teachers have no issue with static students, because everyone is involved
