FESTIVALS. CARNIVAL We celebrate carnival in February. We do parades and a funny contest. SEMANA SANTA (Easter). People dress up as a nazareno and they give candies to children. SEVILLANAS- MAY FAIR.

  2. CARNIVAL We celebrate carnival in February. We do parades and a funny contest.

  4. People dress up as a nazareno and they give candies to children

  5. SEVILLANAS- MAY FAIR During this month we celebrate Sevillanas. We dress up as flamencas and we dance and eat in the stands.

  6. El Carmen and Habaneras Fishermen celebrate their day in July. Carmen’s Virgin is their patron saint. They do a religious procession in the sea. Morover, the Habaneras international contest is celebrated in Torrevieja in July. People from all over the world come here to listen and to sing.
