  2. Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP) PSEOP is a program that allows Ohio high school students to earn college credit and/or high school graduation credit through the successful completion of college courses (ODE Guidance Resource Booklet Student Guide, 2006)

  3. Purpose: • To promote rigorous academic pursuits • To provide a wider variety of options to high school students (ODE Guidance Resource Booklet Student Guide, 2006)

  4. Historical Perspective • 1989 11th and 12th grade students only • 1997 9th and 10th grade students added • 1999 Eligibility restriction: 3.0 GPA (ODE Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program for Ohio Students Brochure, 2006)

  5. Participation Options • Option A • College credit only or both high school and college credit • Family pays all PSEOP expenses • Option B • High school and college credit • State foundation pays college directly • State pays tuition, books, materials, course fees • Family pays general college fees (ODE Guidance Resource Booklet Student Guide, 2006)

  6. Important Deadline • March 30th(or Before Spring Break) All students/parents must notify high school of intent to participate (ODE Guidance Resource Booklet Student Guide, 2006)
