  5. Electric Appliances use up electricity even when turned OFF! This is called Phantom Loads!!

  6. Some examples Sum of the phantom loads is 55W, which is 40 kWh/mo!

  7. Save $10 to $50 a month: by unplugging electric devices every time not in use. Use a power strip to connect several appliances, then turn them all at once.
