No temporary or second visit is required and the aesthetics are beautiful. In the course of one visit, we can diagnose and prepare your damaged tooth, create an optical impression of the tooth, and use CEREC to design and mill a precision restoration, such as a crown, which is then permanently bonded to your tooth. No mess, no discomfort, no wait. Get the smile you want and get back to your life. We know you’ve got more important things to do. What You Should Know About CEREC Same Day Crowns CEREC is proven technology, with two decades of clinical research and documentation. Aesthetics and convenience converge to offer an eye-pleasing and quickly obtained solution to damaged teeth in a single visit. Ceramic restorations (crowns) are metal free, biocompatible, anti-abrasive and plaque resistant. Using CEREC and advanced-bonding techniques, we are able to restore your teeth to their original strength and function. More than nine million CEREC restorations have been performed worldwide How CEREC Works

  2. DIGITAL IMPRESSION After examining the tooth and determining the course of treatment, we will prepare your tooth for restoration, similarly to traditional treatment methods. Your prepared tooth will be coated with a safe, tasteless powder. CEREC then uses a state-of-the-art digital 3D camera to create an optical impression. This digital image replaces the physical impression required in traditional procedures. No more long waits while a tray of impression goop hardens in your mouth. COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN (CAD) State-of-the-art CAD software allows us to design every precise detail of your restoration with the precision you’ve come to expect from us. The software allows us to customize the shape of the restoration to exactly fit your specific clinical needs. MILL AND PLACE Exact design specifications are sent to our on-site milling machine to create your restoration while you wait.During your same visit, your all-ceramic, color-matched restoration is ready for placement. Your tooth is restored back to its natural form, function and beauty. C E R E C C R O W N S , F I L L I N G S A N D V E N E E R S CEREC can be used instead of traditional amalgam or composite fillings to create a smooth, tooth-colored replacement of tooth material. CEREC inlays and onlays are designed and custom fabricated using state-of-the- art CAC/CAM technology to perfectly match your tooth and bring it back to its natural strength. Onlays are more extensive than inlays, covering one or more of the cusps on the chewing surface of the tooth, and are sometimes called partial crowns. With a CEREC onlay, you may be able to avoid the need for a full crown. However, if a full crown is indicated, a CEREC crown provides a beautiful, strong, single-visit restoration. CEREC veneers can also be used to give you the beautiful, long-lasting smile you’ve always dreamed of. Like CEREC fillings and crowns, CEREC veneers are custom-designed in-house to provide a precise match to your existing teeth in a single visit.

  3. FILLINGS (Inlays and Onlays) CEREC fillings (inlays and onlays) are superior to amalgam or composite fillings because of their superior aesthetics and strength. With enamel-like material, they look and feel like your real teeth, and are longer lasting. Compared to composite onlays, CEREC onlays help restore your tooth to its original strength and have superior aesthetics to PFM (porcelain fused to metal) crowns. And because they are metal free, CEREC onlays have a more natural look and feel, and can help preserve healthy, natural tooth structure. And as with any CEREC restoration, your onlay can be taken care of in one visit. You can avoid the impression materials, temporary and return appointment associated with lab-created onlays. CROWNS With its enamel-like material, CEREC crowns looks and feel like your real teeth. Unlike PFM (porcelain fused to metal) crowns, CEREC is metal free. Although the PFM can mimic natural tooth appearance, the metal limits translucency and can sometimes show through as a dark line, especially at the gum line. And the CEREC crown can help preserve healthy, natural tooth structure. As with any CEREC restoration, your crown can be taken care of in one visit, so you can avoid the impression materials, temporary crown, and return appointment associated with lab-generated restorations.

  4. VENEERS Whether caused by trauma or the natural shape and alignment of your teeth, smile imperfections can make you self-conscious and less likely to smile with your greatest smile. Veneers might be the right solution. Veneers are wafer-thin, custom made laminates of tooth-colored porcelain that are designed to cover the front surface of the teeth. These laminates are then bonded to the front of the teeth, changing their color and/or shape, resulting in an improved appearance. Unlike composite veneers, CEREC uses enamel-like material that looks and feels more like your real teeth. And CEREC veneers are a stronger, long-lasting, permanent solution. As with any CEREC restoration, your veneer can be taken care of in one visit so you can avoid the impression material, temporary and return appointment usually associated with traditional veneers.
